"Best of the Region" Show
at The ARTFactory

A nationally esteemed juror selected the works
of local artists for this one of a kind exhibit!

On Saturday, June 7, 2025 the ARTfactory along with Prince William Art Society sponsored the Best of the Region Fine Art Show and Sale which opened June 3 and ran till until June 15.

I was extremely honored to have my work selected for the show! In addition, a detail from my print, Twin Lights,  was used as part of the promotion flyer and was distributed to downtown businesses.

Engaging Passersby
with the Art of Printmaking

My print "Captivate" is part of an outdoor gallery.

This year I was honored to have my work "Captivate" selected for this program.  The event was kicked off with an artist reception at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.

ShenArts is celebrating its 16th year of ArtScape, a public art program where local artists submit their work to be turned into banners displayed in downtown Winchester and Middletown, Virginia. The ArtScape 16 program allows artists of all ages and skill levels to participate, offering a juried exhibition and a chance to showcase their work to the community.

My art will be on display for this year long program.

Clifton Homes Tour

Historic Village of Clifton, Virginia

IMG_3965.JPG

Welcoming guests from the front porch.

Showcasing my handcrafted creations alongside a stunning 19th-century.

The sun shined bright upon an old wooden porch and it was the perfect atmosphere to welcome visitors who were part of the Clifton Homes Tour. Supported by the Art Guild of Clifton and hosted by the Clifton Community Women's Club, the day was one filled with art.

This was my first visit to this historical village. I was able to connect with fellow creatives and share my homemade and handmade goods with passersby as the days heat arrived. I had the unique company of the historical Clifton Presbyterian Church to my right. I was even fortunate to receive a tour of this church and saw bas reliefs that had been carved by General Webb around the turn of the twenty century, but that had been in an attic stored away, and lay out of sight for many many years .

As the wind carefully blew and the sun shined with its rays, I met a lovely group of patrons that joyfully shared stories with me as they learned more about my work and my handmade and homemade gifts.
